The craft of home decorating is a shared passion at The Good Home of Oakmont.  It brings us comfort and inspiration;  especially when it comes to integrating older pieces and artisan-made items with contemporary design trends. The care, the time, and the creativity that went into creating each vintage piece is evident and hard to replicate in the mass produced pieces today;  there’s some thing about pairing them with new pieces and accessories that truly elevates the beauty in the contrast. 

With people spending more time at home and thinking about how to fill their place with warmth and comfort,  we envisioned the shop to be that spot where people come to find something special and timeless - be it practical, functional, or simply beautiful.  

Oakmont is a wonderful small town with a vibrant, walkable Main Street and  a lot of exciting events in the business district - an ideal place to house our love for home goods and vintage items and share it with our neighbors.
